We wanted to share with you the next change Facebook puts on its platform, which affects how your posts from WordPress.com can be shared to your Facebook account. As of August 1, 2018, third-party tools can no longer automatically post posts to Facebook profiles. This includes Publicize, the WordPress.com and Jetpack sites tool that links your site to major social media platforms (such as Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook).

Will this affect your ability to share content on Facebook? This. If you've linked a Facebook profile to your site, then you only have to publish the bulletins on Facebook. On the other hand, nothing will change if you keep a Facebook page on your site - all content must remain directly on Facebook via Publicize. If you've already linked a Facebook profile to your WordPress.com site and you still want your Facebook followers to see your posts, you have two options.
